Dining Area – After

I never thought I was a sectional type of girl until I met this couch. The week before we moved into this house,
Me, Kel and Posey slept on the couch b/c our beds were already moved. This thing is so comfortable, and it will fit sooo many people!

If I would have had my way, I would have painted the brick fireplace white, but my family vetoed me ![]()
Originally, I fought hard to move the wood burning stove out of the fire place. My husband won the battle, and I’m sooo
happy he did! We haven’t even run the central heat yet! This puppy can generate some amazing heat.
Not to mention, I’m a sucker for a good fire.

I’m loving seeing these before and afters. You have an amazing sense of style. Love it!
Looks awesome, Kelly! Can’t wait to see it all in person. Love the Southern Fete calendar too- Valerie is a friend of mine…she’s a great gal!
OMG, i love it! And i can tell you’re a YHL reader from that DIY calendar. I made one too
I am an IKEA/WEST ELM girl myself!!!!

Kelly– I can’t believe you got rid of the Anne Maria Horner curtains- They were so cute! But I do love the new look.. it’s very chic and warm at the same time! I hope you guys are getting adjusted in the new house- it looks a little roomier
Maybe you should consider home decorating

Such inspiration! It’s a little bit vintage, little it modern, pottery barn’ish, with a twist of your own! – I love it.
Is this house in Ruston? It’s beautiful! Love the dining room table and comfy couch. So honored to see our calendar apart of it!

This is fabulous! Thanks for all of the “where u got it” info…I’m looking for a sectional. And I’m LOVING the gray on the walls. Warm yet clean. Great job!!
Nice! I love the idea of hanging the teacups off of a frame!

Looks great!
my new office is a little darker shade of grey & i have the same west elm pendants…we are considering putting goldfish in them bc they’re so big, not really. darling renovation…love it!
Kelli, wow your talent is endless, you think you could give me some tips on switching colors in my home studio? I want to change out two colors but i use one of the walls to shoot on.. so please let me email you some photos to get some advice!!!! let me know if its possible for your fantastic design styles.
Hey Kelly…the table looks great…everything looks great!! Thanks so much for the credit on your blog!
Kelly, you are so cool!
Hello perfect timing! We are renovating our new home that we have purchased. Not living in it yet. But we have a HUGE great room with beams and a fireplace, similar to what you have. I have been pretty certain about doing a shade of grey, and also about painting the ceiling & the wood beams all white! I LOVE this shade of grey you have chosen! So perfect that you have posted this now while I am in the decision making phase. Anxious to know…the rooms that adjoin to this room…what color are the walls in them? I have choose paint colors for our entire house and I want it all to flow nicely.
Thanks again!
that is so freakin’ awesome! you gave me some great ideas for our living and dining room! did you think of it all on your own?
ok..this may be a first..but then again maybe not….would u be interested in helping me decor my house? My house jus lacks creativity(i think mine has dried up lol) And u r freakin amazing at this!! shoot! some people have all the luck lol
I love everyting about these rooms!!! great job! Where are the rug and round ottomon in the LR from??
I really love your style!! It is so me! Please, oh please I need to know where you purchased the following: End table that is by the sectional; two small table lamps on the entryway table; and the area rug. Also is that gourd lamp from West Elm? I love West Elm! I just purchased some linen curtains/rod and some felt knit pillow covers from them for my family room.
Thanks a bunch!
I have looked everywhere so I didn’t have to be a big geek and ask you where you got your candle holders (on the mantle). I have a huge crush on them! Are they wood? Thank you, any info would make me very happy.
I LOVE your new rooms! I think the cow is perfect-adorable and I love your couch! I am so glad you didn’t paint the brick fireplace-it adds character
I have been in love with your living room since Young House Love crashed it, and I just found a pin of it on Pinterest and pinned it in my living room makeover idea board for the new house we just bought. But I have to know…where did you get the sectional? Or what brand is it? Thank you so much for the info!
Melani- We got it from Haverty’s. We LOVE it! Most comfy couch EVER!
You certainly made a very chic transformation, Kelly! You have a very keen eye for details. You made the right decision in keeping your brick chimney wall as it is. It turned into an interesting focal point in your room. You came up with an instant accent piece!
Hi Kelly! You have an amazing house! I love your living/dining room, and recently have become obsessed with your sectional, to the point where I’m considering buying it without ever sitting on it
Do you love it? And what fabric color did you go with? Let me know when you get the chance. Thanks!
Hat’s off to you on your beautiful home, Kelly! I love the concept going on in the dining area. Kudos to you!
