Meet Stephanie!!

Hello all!  I want to introduce you to my amazing office assistant.  This is Stephanie Dugard, and she makes my life MUCH better!

I’m a procrastinator.  I knew about a year ago that I desperately needed someone to take over the customer service side of things with Kelly Moore Bag. #1 – I was burning my candle at both ends trying to do it all myself.  #2 – As owner and creator , it was difficult doing customer service all by myself.  I’m so personally vested in every bag and every design that dealing with the issues that come along with customer service left me emotionally drained.  I needed help!

I’m a terrible boss.  I’m NOT a micro manager, so I needed someone that was a self starter – someone who could see a problem and have the smarts to figure it out.  Most importantly I needed someone I could trust…with my brand, with my customers, with my kids, and with my home.  Luckily, God is good, and without even looking for someone, a good friend of mine gave me Stephanie’s # and told me to call her.  On a whim I called her, and the rest is history.

Stephanie is all the things I was looking for (even though I wasn’t technically looking) and so much more. She is a beautiful girl, inside and out, who is kind, meek and quick to listen.  She even baked me cupcakes for my birthday and gave me a rice krispie treat for boss’ day.  What more could I ask for?! I’m so thankful to have her at the helm leading the way with customer service.

Soon Stephanie is going to be joining me here on the blog to share with you some of her artsy-craftsy fabulousness.  She has an eye for style and a flare for crafting new things from old.  I’m trying to talk her in to starting her own Etsy site to share her giftings with the world.

Now, please help me welcome Stephanie to our blog by leaving her an encouraging comment!

A little bit about Stephanie:

Age: 24…will be 25 this month, woo hoo! LOVE birthdays!

Marital Status: Married to Jake Ryan (yes he was named after Jake Ryan from 16 Candles) We have been married for a little over a year.

What’s your Favorite thing to do in your free time? Thrift shop, I would go every day/all day if I could.

What’s the best thing about working for Kelly?  Getting to see and work with a real life mom/wife/business owner/photographer. I get to see her live out her life in all of these roles. I get to be in her home and love on her children. It’s a beautiful story and picture of what my life may look like one day…how thankful I am for her to let me see.

What’s the worst thing about working for Kelly?  That she is addicted to diet coke and I’m not?! Like I’m going to answer this… he he

What do you want to do when you grow up?  My dream is to have a vintage/handmade goods store where old things are made new and beauty is found in the story of the one-of-a-kind.

Where is your favorite place in the world?  I have been fortunate to have traveled quite a bit, but I would have to say my favorite place is my hometown. It’s where I grew up and where my parents still live. There is comfort in the place where I have so many childhood memories. When I go there I am always reminded of the things and people that have shaped me into the person I am.

Is it true that Posey (Kelly’s 4yr old) came in wearing a Mrs. Potato head earring on her lip to be more like you?  HA HA HA!!!! I could see her doing this. It never fails, once a week Posey will mention something about my lip ring. It’s the same conversation ever time. Posey: What is that? Me: A lip ring. Posey: What color is it? Me: Silver. Posey: I am going to get a pink one when I get big.

Nice to meet you all!!
